Kalundborg offers plenty of bicycle adventures on small cosy roads with peaceful traffic. There are lots of good trails, so you can find a nice trip, which takes a couple of hours, a whole day, or a week. You ride through a changing landscape; some places water and land blend into one, elsewhere the coastal landscape rises sharply and steeply. There are idyllic harbours, cosy villages and dramatic Ice Age landscapes.
Cycling MapAt Kalundborg Tourist Office you can purchase a cyckling map with nine routes in and around Kalundborg. All trips are loop trips, ie. they start and end in the same place. In the map you will find descriptions of the sights you will pass on each trip. Price: EUR 7.00

Challenges for MountainbikeThe Klostersporet trail in Kalundborg is a technical route offering the possibility of riding along a couple of long, straight stretches. The route is fairly hilly and runs along small, winding tracks, in and out of the trees in Klosterskoven wood.  The route is firm most of the way round, but can be muddy and clayey in places when it is damp and has rained. The length of the route can be varied from approx 3 km to 6 km, depending on which trail you take. The routes starts from the car park on Lerchenfeldvej, close to the hospital. At www.gpsies.com you will find around 10 MTB routes in and around Kalundborg.
