Do you have the children - we have the beaches! With just over 160 km of unspoiled coastline there are beaches for every taste and every purpose. Sandy beaches, beaches for bathing, and shingle beaches - we have all kinds of beaches. Some with sand suitable for castles, cakes and other fancy constructions, some with "desolate sand islands" which children can go on an expedition to explore, some with lovely bathing bridges that invite you to "splash" in the water.


The beaches around Kalundborg are child-friendly, there is no undercurrent, no dangerous holes. Although it may blow, the waves are not too high for children to swim safely. Take a bucket and shovel or fishing net with you and enjoy an active day by the water.
